These terms cover the MakePace website and business dashboard, operated by MakePace. Contact us through the enquiry form.

Your account

You must be authorised to share the information you add about your business. Keep your sign-in links private and your email account secure. You are responsible for keeping your business information accurate and for reviewing advice before acting on it.

Creating an account is free and does not start a subscription, advertising campaign or automatic AI check. Available features depend on your agreed service and active connections. Reasonable usage allowances and security limits apply.

Paid services

Published prices describe our standard packages; this website does not take payments. The Growth introductory price applies to the first month, followed by the displayed monthly price. Growth is monthly rolling and can be cancelled before the next renewal. Before paid work begins, we agree the scope, fees, applicable VAT, billing schedule, service allowances, cancellation terms and any third-party costs in writing. That agreement governs the purchased service if there is a conflict with these general website terms.

AI advertising management fees do not include your advertising budget. No campaign is launched or additional spend committed without your approval. Platform eligibility, availability and ad approval apply. Paid placements do not purchase organic recommendations or alter ChatGPT’s answers.

AI answers and advice

AI can produce inaccurate or incomplete answers. Our assistant helps you think through marketing choices; it does not replace professional advice or act on your behalf. It cannot change your website, contact customers or spend money.

Visibility checks record answers to particular questions at particular times through available platform APIs. They do not reproduce every consumer app experience or guarantee what a future customer sees. A mention is not automatically a recommendation. We do not guarantee rankings, recommendations, sales or growth.

Your information and content

You retain ownership of the information you supply. You allow us and the relevant service providers to process it as needed to provide the service, as described in our privacy notice. Only share information you have the right to use. Do not upload sensitive customer records, passwords or unlawful content.

Our website design, branding and original materials belong to us or their licensors. Third-party names are used to identify platforms, not to suggest a partnership or endorsement. Sources linked from checks retain their own rights and terms.

Fair use and security

Do not bypass verification or usage limits, probe another account, scrape private information, send spam, or use the service unlawfully. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with legal obligations.

Availability and ending your account

We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Providers may change or become unavailable. Checks that fail are kept separate from completed answers. You can stop automatic checks, clear your conversation or delete your account in the dashboard.

Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a separate signed service agreement or outstanding invoice. Contact us to arrange the end of any paid work.

Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. We remain responsible for exercising reasonable care and skill in the services we agree to provide. Any further service-specific responsibilities and liability provisions must be agreed in the written service contract.

Questions and disputes

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without taking away any mandatory protections that apply to you. If we update these terms materially, we will explain the change before it affects an ongoing paid service.
